The unique cutting shears from Dive Rite are the Titanium Trauma Shears that are designed to be carried by divers for cutting wire or fishing nets. The Dive Rite Shears snap into the pocket through daisy chain loops and will not come unclasped whilst diving as the clips are rugged. The Trauma Shears have a quick release system with the velcro lanyard which ensures the knife is kept securely in place. Titanium is a highly resistant metal alloy that does not rust yet is stronger than traditional steel. Traditional steel dive knives tend to require continual maintenance of cleaning and coating in silicone to avoid rusting.
