The SporaSub Sandwich 5mm Jacket is a popular smoothskin wetsuit with open cell lining, integrated hood and beaver tail closure. The smoothskin outer reduces and drag so you can slip through the water easier and open-cell inner traps water against you keeping you warm. SmoothThe outer lining of the suit is smoothskin neoprene with flat seams that all reduce drag so you can move faster and easier through the water. An integrated hood keeps your head and body warm with less water flushing compared to a separate hood and it improves your streamlining too. Open CellThe inner lining of the suit is bare open cell neoprene that while fragile is great at sticking to your skin and stopping water from flushing around the suit keeping you warm. You will need help from some kind of suit lubricant to get it on but when it's on you can spend much longer in the water than a conventional suit.Doubling up with the separate pants and you get twice the insulation over your mid section and it's easy to get on with two parts.
